Storyline
Hit & Run is an upcoming romantic action comedy film written by Dax Shepard, with David Palmer and Shepard co-directing again (their first film being Brother's Justice in 2010). The film stars Shepard, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Bradley Cooper, and Tom Arnold. It is set to be released worldwide on August 24, 2012.
THE BUZZ: Dax Shepard returns to the big screen as he's found his greatest success to date on the show Parenthood and recently he co-directed another indie action/comedy, Brother's Justice. Despite the presence of Bradley Cooper, this is still a wild card in terms of theatrical success, though I imagine the idea here is to rake it in on VOD.

We just saw this movie at a screening at Los Angeles Film School, and o boy it was GOOD. The audience were on fire throughout the movie. I will try to talk about the movie without any spoilers although I marked the warning anyway.
Even though at the school where the movie was screened the sound quality was much lower than your average AMC, picture size was a bit small for the size of the theater and seats were a bit uncomfortable with no cup holder, the audience seemed to be enjoying themselves and being captivated by the movie. My wife and I loved it.
The movie is intense and fun, I think of it as a cross between the intensely comedic side of Horrible Bosses/Hangover type of comedy and the intensity of Drive/Crash but not as serious but in a more fun comedic way.
